The Firm has three main arms of practice namely- Advocacy, Human Resources (HR) & Industrial Relations (IR) and Labour/Employment Law Compliance Services.
The Firm predominantly specializes in advising managements with regards to Labour/Employment and Labour Welfare Legislation. Apart from this the Firm also deals with General Civil Laws, Intellectual Property laws, Criminal Laws, Arbitration and Conciliation Laws. The Firm handles both contentious and non-contentious matters at the lower and the High Courts. The firm further has a team of auditors who are experts in Sales Tax, Service Tax, Income Tax, Professional Tax, Central Service Tax, Karnataka Sales Tax, VAT & CAT registration.
The Firm secondly assists its clients to set up in house Human Resources (HR) Department. We help in framing of HR policies, placing competitive people in our client’s HR teams, retention of employees, training and development of their employees, formulating performance appraisal formats, framing promotion policies, etc.
The Firm advices its clients on Industrial Relations to deal with trade unions, negotiations with union leaders, preparing necessary documents, appearing on behalf of the management before Government authorities regarding charter of demands, conducting domestic enquiries, grievance handling procedures, negotiations with the unions (registered or non registered), bipartite, tripartite settlement, and implementation of the settlement.
